After approximately 18 hours of journey, I'm finally home.
Home, as in KAJANG home.
I've never been so excited about coming home before.
Too tired to put words coherently, but you know, it's true what they say: There's no sweeter place in the world like home. ♥ I'm just glad to be back.
Nasi lemak, roti pisang, ramli burger, cheese wedges, teh o ais limau, lin chi kang....here I come!
Thanks to the guys who travelled with me, making things so much easier. =)
p/s: What's with the heat here??? It's like a fucking sauna everywhere I go! Why so many mosquitoes also! Internet damn slow! Niame betul. /complaincomplain.

Bye Bye 56 Bantock Way
The day has finally arrived.
Approx. 7 hours until I hop on the flight to KL. DAMN CANNOT WAIT.
Anyway, going back means a closing of a chapter in my life. That chapter was a major part of my life for the past 8 months spent in the house of 56 Bantock Way, Harborne, Birmingham.
As usual, everything is fresh in my mind. Being a member of the house is something super random for me, because I didn't know anyone in the house at first apart from Tzyy(whom I hardly knew either but just accepted his offer for a room here). So dangerous and dodgy. Hahaha. I still remember the first time I saw the house, and how I reacted to it. I can seriously laugh my head off now when I think back about it.
To be honest the house now is no different then how I first came in. Still old and dilapidated. Still surrounded by trash. Still has an horrific backyard.
But one learns how to adapt to the surrounding when given no other choice. Now everything seems perfectly normal to me, although hardly ideal. I've grown attached to my room; my sanctuary in this sometimes harsh place.
And the people here...My housemates. Gambling addicts, but fun and super nice people. Hardly knew them, but with them now my Mandarin has improved tons compared to when I was still in Malaysia. Thank you guys! :D
After 8 months, this place actually feels like home. Which probably explains this twinge of sadness to leave this place (although I'm not unwilling). As much as I hate new beginnings, I hate partings as well.
What better way is there to make memories than to take pictures? Here's what 56 Bantock Way is like in the inside:
And....
Not like cannot see ever again la, but it's separate ways for us all after this. Or at least for the next year.
The state I was in when I came into this house and the state I am now leaving it is SO different. I think I have seriously grown a lot in this house in just the span of 8 months, more than I probably ever will at home in Malaysia. But well, life goes on. =)
Bye bye 56 Bantock Way,
And here's hoping my stay in the next house will be as good if not better than this.

p/s: Moving is a bitch, and packing to go home sucks. I'm more stressed going home than coming here...which is NOT suppose to happen! If there's one thing I learnt, getting ang paus is not fucking worth the packing of stuff to lug back. =_= /rant. *goes back to packing*Friday, June 05, 2009
FREEDOM
The best 'freedom' expression.
Ever.
Ever.
Okay, so what's a student's blog without 'freedom' posts after exams? This time...it's truly freedom (until the next year, that is) although I somewhat celebrated it last week via karaoke-ing.
So, WHOPPEEEE.
I'm done, I'm done!!
I'm done, I'm done!!
Time fucking flies, I tell you. One day I was leaving Malaysia for UK, and the next...I'm going back to home after completing my second year. Second year! Completed!! This academic year has got to be one of the fastest in my life.
@_@
But ah...home. The one thing that I am so looking forward to right now.
In ONE WEEK's time:
- Cheap/good food/mamak!
- AC!
- Driving!
- Family!
- Friends(local gang)!
- Games!
- Shopping any time I like!
- No more fucking house chores!
The last bit is the best, IMO. No.more.cleaning/washing/ironing!
Ironing is evil. EVIL I say.
My smooth milky skin! Scarred!
Ok la, my skin is not milky smooth and the scar will fade in time but still ugly lar, can? =_= So cannot wait to go back and be pampered like a princess. =P
Now...bring on days of shopping, games and manga! ♥♥♥
