Back For Good.

It just wouldn't be holidays if my family didn't go somewhere during the holidays. And this year, we stayed in the country and half the state. We went to Genting. A 3 days 2 nights thang, went on Sunday and back on Tuesday. Definately not my choice of destination as i've been there for 3 consecutive times including this year. But for the sake of Faye, what the heck.

So Genting. Hello for the 3rd time running.

But what i expected wasn't quite it. For one thing, it was fucking crowded at Genting. This probably had to do with the fact that Sunday and Monday were public holidays in Selangor. Everywhere i turn in the Indoor Theme Park was a sea poeple. Crowds = no good. Gave me a hell of headache. And the extremely dirty state of Genting is just appalling. I'm quite amazed at how uncivilsed some local tourists can be...and that's a real shame to our country, as a developing one. Also some other loud foreign tourists there made things all the fucking worse. Genting was much better years ago when it wasn't so commercialized.

However, i did enjoy one thing there. The new ride in Genting called The Flying Coaster, that was fun. I'm pretty proud of myself for taking the ride...because i'm usually a fucking wimp. That was more fun and less scarier than the Corksrew. Another thing...was the arcade. I'd enjoy arcades anywhere. ^_^ But it wasn't as much fun as i last went too. Why? Crowds. Go figure.

Hmm.. I can't say much. I'm just lazy to type i think. :s But one thing's fore sure, there's no place like home and my room with my pc. ^_^ I'm not trying to be ungrateful by saying i don't like my holiday, I am in fact grateful i get to go. Just that it was spoiled by the crowd and other poeple.

One new thing i came up with. I shall have the 'Bishie of The Moment' in my blog. Very much like the mood thing in LJ and GJ..but just bishies. ♥

I just started watching Bleach again, and i really regret not watching it earlier. Don't know how i'd pass up for such a great anime like this one.

YA-HAAAAAAA!!!!!

Free. FREE AT LAST.

Friday marked the end of my dratted 11 years of schooling. *wipes tears* I predicted that it's be a mixed feeling thing. Feeling happy because i finished SPM, and sad because that'd be the last time i can gather with everyone in school again.

But sentimental be damned. I'm fucking way happier than i'd ever imagined! XD NO bitter feelings at fucking all! I think it's probably due to the time i spent being cooped up at home stah-dee-ing. :|

That's why.... YA-HAAAAAA!!!!! *Hiruma style*

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
If only that was a champagne ^_^ ♥

AH. During SPM, i had a very badly timed addiction. I was addicted to Eyeshield 21 of all the sudden. :| And yes, Hiruma's just........gorgeous. He's uber lovable and that attitude of his kicks ass. He's my crush of the moment, though he's very much a son of a devil. XD I was also bloody addicted to Hiruma/Sena(how could i NOT realized what a fucking cute couple they make after a year of reading ES21 manga?!? *rolls eyes*) pairing and i craved OH-SO badly for their fanarts and fanfics though i was supposed to be only concentrating on studying. The torture it was. :(

Well. Bottom line, i'm free now. I can do whatever i want. wOOt! *becomes a spastic* Hehe...all the animes..all the mangas...all the scanlations and fanfics and sigs waiting for me.... *grins and rubs hands evilly*

The feeling of freedom is certainly a bit alien to me at the moment. The thought of 'I can do what i bloody want' gets me all confused 'cause i don't know what to do first. :s Weird.

--------------

On DoNE which was on Thursday, me and Liz treated ourselves to a movie. Guess what? Bingo! Have a cookie, it was Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire(i'm too lazy to get a picture). Felt so outdated, because HP was already showing since 2 weeks ago. Me and Liz couldn't wait till friday and couldn't give a damn for EST.

As for HPtGoF, i must say, it was somewhat a disappointment for me. I had expected better from everyone. Daniel Radcliffe did improved, but i still hate Harry. Okay, not hate maybe, but somehow, the Harry in GoF was rather 'plastic'. The scene where he cried when Cedric died at the end practically screamed 'I"M FORCING MYSELF TO CRY AND I"M NOT DOING A GOOD CONVINCING JOB AT ALL!!!"

Hermione's turning into a pretty lady alright, but i dislike her for being wayyy to mothery adn trying to act 'mature' for her age. And Ron, totally abused and over-used his famous line 'bloody hell'. It was bloody hell this, bloody hell that, yak yak yak. Which, the point is, he's just bloody annoying.

I actually have loads to say, but i'd just keep it short because:
1) I'm lazy.
2) HP has already been released for quite sometime. No point ranting.
3) This is going to be such a longggg post.

The plot of the movie was bad. Partially it's because of the way the director, Mike Newell cut and edited the whole movie. Of course, i understand that the movie was a 700++ paged book crammed as into a 2 hours++ film. But still....i had expected the appearance of Winky and i find it hard to believe she wasn't in the movie, as she played a big role in the book. The movie's progress wasn't smooth at all. Very abrupt and choppy. Every time a good part builds up until almost the climax and suddenly....CHOP. The next scene. That irritated me a bit. Especially the dragon scene where Harry had to fight the Horntail.

The Albus Dum-bly-dorr in this movie was not as calm as usual and not half as calm as he is in the book as well. He was very brash, and that sort of made Dumbledore's character a bit OOC. Same goes to Mad-Eye-Moody. In the movie, he was just a crazy mad old brash git. In the book, he was a darker person and calmer too. The OOCness in it.... >.> Lastly...wtf is wrong with everyone's HAIR?!? Mullets? Long hair(the Weasley twins)??? They need a new stylist, period. -___-

The quality of the movie wasn't too bad though. I liked the over all effects of the movie and certain parts were really good(The Yule Ball and the 2nd & 3rd task). I thought the humour in it was brilliant at certain areas. The reviving of Voldemort was interesting too, one of the only complete parts in the movie. Voldemort reminded me of a very much taller and bigger version of a noseless Gollum. I'd rate the movie a C+, but a pat on the back for Mike Newell and everyone for trying.

Blah.

Sooo...

It's already been 2 fuckin' weeks since SPM. So far..so good i guess, because i am actually still surviving.

It's amazing how a student's job can be so easy : Sit, study your ass off and get good grades. Done. And yet...sitting on my study place with the book open for just 2 hours proves to be one of the hardest things to do for a student. Well, probably (and i'm quite certain too) it's just me.

The thing is, the exam period is far too long. So long that till now, i've practically lost all interest in studying, even though it's not done yet. :

There goes my 'good' grades.

The only thoughts that comforts be for the moment is:
  • One more week till total freedom. XD
  • 4 more days till DoNE. ^__^ ♥

All Wonderful Things...Or Not, Will Eventually Come To An End.

Wow. It has been a dead long time since i've updated this stupid blog. Tsk tsk, i have such a short span of attention for something.

Anyway...a lot has happened since i last updated. My trials are over, and i actually managed to scrap pass my trials without failing any subjects, miraculously. Plus, my grades weren't that bad either. I hope my luck will last me for another 2 months. *prays* :s

So...Today, 28th of October 2005, marks the last of my schooling life. My high school life. Like i said, all things, wonderful or not, will eventually come to an end. It was a mixed up day for me, because that particular school, SM Convent Kajang, is a place where i have wasted spent 10 years of my life. That 10 years sucked, but at the same time it holds precious memories of the 10 years of a bloody roller-coaster ride i was on in the school, along with all my friends and other people that i have met there.

I'm mixed up, because i'm happy to leave there. Finally! Out of school! No more rules! No more stressing on Bahasa Melayu! No more exams of 11 subjects! I'm glad my schooling life is over, because it means a new begining for me. That, of course, applies only after my SPM, which is currently a bout just 2 weeks away. (HOLY HELLL!!!)

Then there's the sad and torn feeling in me. I'm not an overly-emotional person. But 10 years is a long long time. As much as i disliked school, i liked it a lot as well. It was a place where i met wonderful poeple whom i can now call friends. The sudden thought not having to step my foot into that place again(after SPM and after my results day.), its....a wee tiny bit depressing. Because i'm afraid to start walking on a new path after my school. Part of myself, i don't want things to change, i don't want to meet new poeple, and i want to remain in a place where i'm familiar with, along with my friends.

And i will sorely miss my class and a few teachers.

Farewell, it has been a long journey, not entirely a pleasant one, and sometimes a much hated one. But it's an experience that has been worth the years.

------------

Holy shitess. Since when have i been that emotional? Geez. 'Nough said. Now that my trials are over, school's over, the only thing left to kill go through is SPM. Which is only 2 fucking weeks awayyy!!! @____@ *rants, grumbles, whines, rants rants rants*

Sigh, i have no choice. The real battle begins now.

Peace Maker Kurogane

Ok...i was supposed to write a review bout this anime months ago...but i kept putting it off. So i'm gonna write it now, and delete the Peace Maker Kurogane(PMK) file that's been taking up my hard disk's space.

First of all, PMK is a shounen anime, feudal era samurais themed, with lotsa bishies to drool at. Yes, and that is what convinced me to watch it in the 1st place. All in all, the animation was good in quality and pretty. Graphics were pleasant. However, i don't quite agree with the plot though. I sort of feel that the plot did not unfold properly...perhaps there should be more events included instead of repeating certain things over and over again, especially parts of Tetsu brooding. There should be a bit more action, and at times some episodes were downright boring and pointless.

But then again, no anime is perfect....PMK is almost good enough and definitely worth watching. It's funny at proper times and exciting as well. And the best thing is, there's shounen-ai hints all over the anime. :D ♥

Characters:
Tetsu
The main character, Tetsunosuke. Cute and first glance, but frankly, I don't like him. He's the overly genki/eager type and reminds me strongly of Naruto. I don't like Naruto either. Tetsu's got some serious issues in the anime. :S

Tatsu
Tetsu's brother, Tatsunosuke. Much better compared to Tetsu, and damn good looking at certain angles. Annoying at times...why? Because they had to portray him as the overly-protective bro and a whimpy guy. >:(

Susumu
The DEFINITE BISHIE of the anime, shinobi Susumu. :D The quiet serious type, mmm..i like. ♥♥♥ They should've shown more of him and less Tetsu, i say.

Hijikata x Souji
The shounen-ai theme is carried by both Hijikata and Souji. ♥ ♥ But there's wayyy too damn little scenes of them. Once again, Tetsu has to dominate the anime. >:( Guess it's up to my imagination now. *rubs hands evilly* Souji is so prettyyy. It took me quite some time to determine if he is a girl or guy, honestly.

Villains
Even the villains are good looking. 'Nough said.

Overall, i like how the characters grew in time in the anime. But too much Tetsu often kills my mood. It's a relatively short anime, with only 24 episodes. The ending wasn't very good, though happy it was rather unclear...i wish they would've told us what happened to Suzu at the end... :\ Still, I'd rate it a good 7.5/10.

It's been a long time since i actually updated anything on this blog, which is still amazingly alive. I've been busy in hell and back again. :(

The Vowbreaker

I'm being weird. It's been almost a week since i came back from the camp. Somehow, i kinda miss the times i had during my short period of stay in that sometimes-horrid camp. : I guess i'm being sentimental again, but i can't help smiling when i recall some certain memories i had there with my friends. That was a good one to last me for life(hopefully).

.........
............
..............OH GOD What is wrong with me?!? Why am i being so dramatically emotional?!? *shivers* >.<

Back to current issues, it's tests/exams season for me, a-fucking-gain. :( Seems like i have test all year round. Now, i'm sure that most adults especially teachers think that having more tests is a good way to test students and "encourage them to work harder" for a better grade.

But let me say, that is an awfully wrong concept. Sure, tests/exams once in a while are necessary. But not all the damn time. It's so stressfully for some of us who are already having a hard time struggling to keep up with our studies and homework. And when we fail to get a good grade, all our confidence are destroyed in a blink of an eye. All the "if you fail, then work harder" and "think positive" talk is definitely much easier said than done. It's not a piece of pie to recover and struggle once again doing the same thing.

However, this time, i am at fault. Like every other time, i failed to plan, i failed to control myself, i failed to discipline myself to study. And like the usual, i studied at the last minute. I shouldn't even be writing this now, but i should be sitting in the kitchen and studying Bio. Physics test scared me half to death because i did not know how to do it al all, and yet i'm still here typing this instead of studying. So i guess all my talk and vows to worker harder, they're nothing but pretty empty words. Yet again, i failed to keep a promise.

I should never promise another anything. I can't be trusted. I am the vowbreaker.

I'm A Survivor!!

Yes. I did it. I survived the outdoor and trials of nature. O_o

It's good to be back in civilazation, honestly. I never felt better reaching home, back to where i belong and where my comforts are.

The camp was a tough one. I was expecting a lot of talks, seeing as it was a moral camp, but it turned out to be somewhat more like a boot camp, with 85% of it are outdoor activities. I can't say i was happy when i first reached the place. The camp was located at Kuala Pangsun, Hulu Langat, Selangor, approximately an hour drive from my school. It was quite a rural area, and of course with a jungle surrounding and it was near the village of 'orang asli's. When me, my friends and other students(129 of us) first reached there, we already got a severe scolding, warning and lecture from the damned and mean facilitators.

Then it was the traditional ice-breaking among us, which was rather pointless because i still didn't get to know names of other people anyway. We were divided into groups, and i was placed in group 1, and chosen as the leader of it, unfortunately. There was merciless torture marching sessions and so on.

Later at night, there was there Nightwalk activity through the jungle. As the leader of the 1st group, i was the first person out of 129 poeple to do everything. It kinda freaked me out at first, but then i realized it was actually a blessing from the lords to be the first person to do everything, because i always got help from the facilitators. So i'm always safe. Thank god for that. The Nightwalk was fun in fact, and i must say that i learned quite a lot of survival skills in the jungle during night time if i ever get lost. But the fucking joke was that, after the Nightwalk activity, at about 2 fucking am in the morning, we were forced to dive into the icy-cold river and cross a bamboo-stick-line by going underneath it(it was laying on top of the river surface). I had no choice but to do so and nearly freezed to death after that. The dormitory that they let us stay in was of course very very plain and very very poor quiality in the facilites such as the toilets and bed, but i wasn't expecting much anyway. 15 poeple crammed up in one small room. Not exactly my defination of 'comfort'.

The 2nd day was the most tedious and challenging of all. There was the usual Jungle Trekking activity. But it was the most extreme one i've ever done of all the camps i've been through. 2 bloody hours of torturous hike up a 1400 ft moutain. It was really demanding and tiring like hell. But when we reached on the moutain top, we were allowed to play in the river. That was the fun part of it, but personally i don't think 2 hours of death hike was worth a little bit of river swimming later. Had lunch there and as one of the leaders of a group i had to carry the rubbish thrown by other students down the hill. -____- IT WAS INSANE. Thank heavens i had kind friends who helped take turns to carry the bag of rubbish down the hill. It was another 1 hour 30 mins++ hike down the hill. All together it was almost a 4 hour long task. And i SURVIVED it. GO me!

After that, there was an Obstacle Course activity, and my muscles were already aching like mad from the jungle trekking. But i endured it as i had no choice and did all the obstacles, including doing a Comando Crawl in a pond of filthy, smelly stagnant pond. When my group suceeded finishing all the task, i actually felt rather happy and proud. And i did enjoy the course, EXCEPT the crawling in the filthy pond. Bathed, or more like cleaned myself(never thought i did actually enjoy bathing there with river water, but i did, after the unbearable stench of the pond), play a silly stock market game at night(it was a bit exciting though) and everybody crashed out early that night. It was actually quite cold in that place, especially when near dawn at bout 6am in the morn. Unluckily for me, i did not bring a blanket and so i had to just use my jacket to cover my legs at night. It was insufficient to keep my teeth from chattering though.

The third day, we played some stupid games again, but the game was extremely tough and demanded group work/cooperation. My group however wasn't that efficient in that part and we failed to win the game. But i was just glad when it was over. At the closing ceremony, the real surprise came to me. My group won the Best Group category, which was totally unexpected as my group did not work properly at all. But then it was definitely worth the effort that i put in to maintain the group. We then boarded the bus and when back at 1 in the afternoon. I reached home at bout 2 something in the afternoon, unpacked, bathed and straight away crashed out for the rest of te day.

I dreaded the camp at 1st and i was brooding in the camp as well. But now...i can't believe i'm gonna say this, but i'm glad i went to the camp. I had fun at times, though it was damn tough, challenging, and torturous most of the time. And i think the camp actually did me some good. It was actually my 1st experience as a leader of a group in activities like these, as i'm usually a very inactivite person and always the follower, never the leader. I enjoyed the time there with my friends and certain activities, and it wasn't that bad once the we warmed up with the facilitators, though they were irritating most of the time. Though my whole body is severely aching now, it was kinda worth it, knowing that i managed to survive a harsh environment. It made me realize how lucky i am to have comforts at home and not living in the jungle and i should be extremely thankful for what i have. It may not be a total pleasant memory or experience, but it was definitely a valuable one for me.

Outdoor Terror.

I don't have much time to write. In a few minutes, i'll have to take a quick show, and then leave for a CAMPING NIGHTMARE TRIP in the middle of the jungle with my school mates. Apparently it was supposed to be a moral training camp. I must say, i'm not overly impressed with the camping centre and in fact am rather worried about the facilities there.

Now, i don't wanna sounds like a fucking spoiled brat, but WTF?! I'm going for a camp! NO computers and comfort for 3 days 2 nights!!! Argghh...I'll admit that i felt rather excited at first, but now i've come to realize that i was never the outdoor type. Plus i ahev exams once i return, lotas homework to finish and a damned Add Math project to finish.

Going to the camp will be somewhat a waste of time. Even though i'll be there less than 55 hours or so(technically), but still...it seems such a long time until this camp thingy will be over. I dread the activities there, though i know it could be fun and i'll try to enjoy, no doubt. But i'm now praying extremely hard that they don't include mud or any vile things in the so-called 'training' activities. :(

I have to double-check my items and take a shower soon.

Good bye, civilazation!

Harry Potter and the now Half-crazy person who read it.

So. Harry Potter. i will have no doubt that millions of poeple had waited for the date/day of the international release. And i'll admit that i'm one of those few millions. Wait, i did i say few? i mean many.

I was going to wake up in the early dawn and go purchase the 6th Harry Potter book in Kinokuniya. But most unfortunately i had bloody add-math tuition, so i couldn't join the fun in getting the book with my greedy hands. :

And today i have completed a feat somewhat inpossible for a lazy person like me. I actually finished a 600++ pages book in only a mere 2 days!! Well...i'm sure hardcore fans around the world can finish the book in 3 hours or so. To me, the book was oddly somewhat a burden. I just had to finish it no matter what. i had to finish it so that i will have time for other things, so that it will not interfere with my other works. I just felt like i had to finish it a.s.a.p. Funny ain't it?

Credits to J.K Rowling for writing another HP book. Sadly i have to say it wasn't exactly brilliant, and i was somewhat dissapointed in it. I was hoping that it would at least better than the 5th book. But i was definitely dissapointed with the ending. I'm not sure i know i what Rowling is thinking, but i definitely hope for a compensation or something in the next and last book.

The plot is still there, thankfully. But Harry is annoying me till no end. Too much teenage angst in him for me. And i thought he was being bloody nosy in some occasions. i'm not quite sure if i liked the way how the story is turning out. And i refuse to believe the ending of the book(not spoiling it here!). Ron and Hermione too...growing in their character and the chemistry between them annoys me as well. i can't help but to feel a stab of pity for Harry in the end though. I felt rather empty after reading it. It had to be the most morbid HP book in the series so far. Let's just hope it doesn't have such a sordid ending in the final end.

Another year to wait seems a long time more...now that i'm halfway through the series, i really can't abandon the Harry Potter series mid-way, especially when it's nearing the ending. I often wonder if J.K Rowling will write what happens to Harry in his life after Hogwarts, after the seventh book. Well, in the mean time, i think i shall the just wait patiently for the last installment, and cross my fingers hopping it'll be good.

The Horror

This is a real-life thing i encountered today.

I had no idea how i found myself standing before this..this creature. I had no further idea how or what made me go nearer to it in the first place. I moved forward, not even once turning my face away although i was very much tempted to, and was about a good 40cm only or so away from it. I held my breath, then slowly breathed heavily. It was so near! Then I found that i no longer had the heart to proceed forward any more than i already stood.

I looked at it directly at the not-so-pleasant face. There were red blotchy patches all over the skin of its face, which was also shining grossly with oil covering it. The skin of its face wasn't as smooth as it was supposed to be. It was terrifyingly bumpy here and there with tiny little holes on it. There were also horrible small red boils with whitish yellow tips on the surface of the skin as well. I could count the boils. 1...2...3...4...and so many more that i lost the will to count after glancing at it.

Its nose was big, round and rather flat, with patches of skin noticeably peeling around it. Its hair settled about rather messily, and in a few more weeks, it would be screaming for a cut. I stared in horror into its tiny bleary but equally wide eyes. Its haggard dark brown eyes with extremely heavy black bags beneath them stared back at mine with utter bewilderment. There were cracks on its lips due to lack of water.

I couldn't think. I couldn't comprehend. But when i eventually found my voice, I whispered hoarsely, "Jesus, you're ugly."

It wasn't before another few seconds of staring at it, with a mixture of feeling of absolute horror, loathe and a bit of pity in me, that a tiny little voice pop into my head saying, "Okay Vonne, you should quit scaring yourself and stop looking at the mirror now."

The Awkward Class Trip. O_o

So, i had to wake up at an insane and cruel 7.40am today when there's no school, get ready and reach the train station by 8.00am. All for the class trip my classmateys planned(i'll give 'em credits for this one...).

It's the last year for all of us. So we had a lil trip to KLCC at 8.00am in the bloody morning to take pictures in the park there. Well, definitely not my choice of place for taking a class photograph. Initially i thought that was a rather..well..how shall i put it? Cheesy place, i suppose, to take a class picture. In a park. All of us. One big gang. KLCC PARK.

I at first thought we'll look like idiots going together, all 31 of us on a train. But when the time came, all my negative thoughts about this trip vanished. I simply enjoyed every single second of the trip, though we somewhat goofed all the way there and back. At the park, it was a bit awkward. Because i never thought i'd come here of all places to take pictures. But i was wrong. I joined them whole-heartly. I acted childish, i played a long as well. I joined a long in the fun. I took a hell lot of pictures and i had fun taking it, being in it, and now, looking at it.

Then we headed to Mid Valley where we had lunch, and then hit the bowling alley(not all of us though) and i with some others went for the arcade, before returning home later. I didn't buy anything, but i must've spent more than 50 bucks plus on this outing.

This trip taught me some stuff. Like you will never know until you try. Although i definitely cannot deny that i felt rather excited for this trip, i thought it was bit silly at first. Why? because....well...we're all grown up teenagers and flocking the park in one huge group like kiddies for mere pictures? Sounded rather childish to me. But i realized now i was being silly. When i was out, there was nothing wrong with it, and i truely enjoyed being together with my friends. Nothing beats that.

I look at the pictures now, and to think that this is gonna be published in the year book, i feel a bit sad really(i am not the sappy kind, and i've only known most of them for only 2 years). It's only about 4 more months left in my senior high school year. I'd love(no doubt.) and hate the day i get outta school. I'd hate it when we have to go on our sperate ways. But as they say, friends come and go, but no friendship will truely end, unless you want it to.

When Misfortune and Trouble Stalks.

Well. I can recall being absolutely euphoric in my last post that my parents are going for a vacation leaving me and siblings to take care of home. Little did i know how bloody wrong i was back then.

These past few days must've been one of the most unfortunate and stressful ones for me and my siblings. Here i was in my mind that there would be some freedom and a welcoming absence of parents for a while in the house, and me being able to do whatever i wanted or go online anytime i desired. But it seems like, trouble and mistfortunes chose the most unappropriate time to strike.

On Monday and Tuesday morning, my maid spotted suspicious figures directly outside my grandmother's front gate(her house is just next to ours) at fucking 5.50 in the morning. Then followed by news from my neighbour that somebody broke into their house, but stole nothing thankfully. From Monday night all the way until last night, there wasn't any sleep at home for us. We were in fear that robbers/burglars will come. We have technically no adults in the house and the only 'man' in the house was my 14 years old younger brother. And my very old, lone, half senile yet fucking overly-stubborn grandmother me and my siblings had to care for made things worse as we have to fear for her safety as well. She certainly did not help by being fucking stubborn at critical times like these and acusing us that we didn't care at least a bit for her.

Then on Wednesday, my younger sister's recently pierced ear got infected and she had to go and get the earring out in the hospital. And on the darn same day itself, my granny broke her leg while on a shoppping quest with my aunts. O_o This is so turning into some kinda twisted drama. No kidding. And you'd think that nothing much can happen in 6 days. It's 'think again' for me. And the puzzling thing is that, such events never happened before when my parents go overseas. It was always smooth and problemless.

All though fortunately no break-ins happened, and all though nothing unfortunate befell me and the sorts, it still affected me inderectly and gave me such stress i thought only exams were capable of giving. Also, i learnt a very important lesson during these days. Which is, to be thankful and cheerish your neighbours. All my life i've never made any intentions or what so ever to comunicate with my neighbours...but without a doubt, me and my siblings only have them to thank as they looked out for us. And oh yeah, another important lesson to me: polish up my hokkien language skills (all my neighbours speak hokkien :/ I had trouble communicating with them).

Sigh. I very much yearn for a good night's sleep. :( But i guess that won't be happening as i have to race the clock to finish up my physics project.

I'm not a very homey-person or extremely family-oriented person, and i've always enjoyed every second of the space given by my parents to me when they go for a vacation or trip. I never thought i'd say this, but i can't wait for my parents to get back.

Home Alone.

It has been a so so week for me. School wasn't bad, but it sure as hell wasn't good either. I don't know why. It's most probably because the teachers kept reminding us that SPM is coming soon. 4 more months or less.

.....

I damn well don't need a reminder like that to depress myself, thank you.

Sigh, but i suppose what will be will be. I can't avoid SPM, so i'll just have to sit and 'study' for it. It was report card day today, and since my parents left for China, my sister went to take the report card for me instead. Hehe. Luckyyy!! i didn't do too bad, i got straight As(though not all 1As) for everything except my chemistry, which was rather abysmal compared to my other subjects. I got a fucking 4B for it. Sigh. I can't exactly complain, because it was partially my own fault(i did not just say that. O_o). The other part of it was because the stupid teacher set such a tough paper for us, when we don't even know what's going on.

My parents aren't upset with my results, so i guess i managed to pull through this one. Speaking of parents, mine went to China and left me and siblings at home, which means i get complete freedom for a few days! YAY! :D

I have done much lately....I didn't manage to do what i was supposed to do. I was s'pose to do my physics project, but i haven't even lay a finger on it yet. Darn. I'm suppose to finish watching Prince of Tennis, and yet again, i failed to do so. I'm such a procrastinator. At times like these, i wish i had Doraemon with me. But i'm now currently watching another anime, titled Trinity Blood. Which to me, is a very good anime and i'm hooked on to it. I just hope it won't have any bad endings like Chrno Crusade or FullMetal Alchemist. I'll shoot the producers with my cheese-crackers lastic if they give it a sad ending. :

abel
I love Tres and Abel.

Batman Begins....or so they say.

Phew. It has been an awfully long but rather enjoyable day today. I was out of home since 10 in the unearthly morning till 6 in the evening. Then at night i went to a dinner in Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate my aunt's birthday. In the afternoon,I went out to KLCC with my siblings and a friend, but excluding my younger sis. We went to watch Batman Begins in the cinema. I was extremely thrilled and couldn't wait, as Liz said it was a really good movie. It was a good thing my sis e-booked the tickets early or else there won't be seats for us as well. It was totally packed!

I managed to smuggle a pack of Pocky into the cinema and ate it while watching the movie. I must say, Batman Begins is indeed a really praiseworthy movie, though i won't say it was brilliant. But it was definitely well worth watching. There were good actors, a good plot, good action, good thrill...and much more. It was very action-packed, as i would've expected judging by the trailers, but maybe a bit too much action than what i've bargained for. Good action, nonetheless.

batman
Oohh. Christian Bale is the best Batman so far.

In playing the characters, Christian Bale was good. He potrayed the Dark Knight well. And oh yess, nobody can deny that he is extremely good-looking and hot. I tried my very best not to oogle him on the screen everytime and tried to pay attention to the story instead. It was hard, i tell ya. I like Liam Neeson as well. This is probably the first movie i've seen him as a villian, because to me, he usally played..er..somewhat noble and good characters. He did a good job being evil. He was cool...and i didn't exactly want his character to die, but oh well. All villains die on screen anyway. It's an expected tradition.

I enjoyed watching Alfred, played by Michael Caine and Lucius Fox, played by Morgan Freeman and not too forget Gary Oldman. The characters they played were well played and indeed. However, Dr. Crane, the insane twisted psychiatrist played out by Cillian Murphy seriously freaked me out a little. There were some scenes in the movie which was rather disturbing and gruesome. And violence is definitely there. I don't exactly favour Katie Holmes in playing the lead woman. She doesn't have the charm in potraying her character. They should've chose someone better and more talented to play Rachel Dawes. Note to Katie/Rachel: wearing a good bra doesn't hurt anybody.

The plot was rather confusing, but i did get it. The only bad thing is that sometimes, the scenes seem like they're cut out all of the sudden, especially in the beginning. In other words, it wasn't really smooth flowing in the beginning and it was a bit weird. Other than that, it was pleasant to watch. The plot was much satisfactory, with elements like angst and just-right drama in it, and i think personally, the storyline is apt in defining what a corrupt world would be like, if it was in our world.

Conclusion: I'd rate this movie an A, and give it 9 out of 10. It's definitely the best Batman movie i've ever since and Christian Bale plays the best Dark Knight compared to the pervious actors. Because of this movie, Batman may even be my fav comic book hero for now. All credits go to director Christopher Nolan and the producers.

Also, i got to see Marion Raven today, as she graced Malaysia in KLCC for a autograph signing session. I didn't get her autograph or meet her personally though(but it's not like i was desperate to, i'd rather meet other poeple actually. haha.), because my brother did instead. She is actually very pretty in person. There was a slight crowd waiting for her, but the crowd was absolutely NOTHING compared to the crowd which flocked KLCC when Simple Plan came.

Weekend Rant.

So...School has already started and the first week was rather smooth flowing. Nothing too stressful or any sort but i can sense much trouble and pressure coming my way soon. I got some exam paper results back, none too disappointing nor too satisfying. If i had actually put a bit more effort in studying instead of being the lazy ass i am, i could've definitely done better. Oh well. I'm now extremely worried about my Physics and Chemistry, considering i had a miracle and passed my Add Math with average grades. I can only pray for a few more miracles to happen.

No homework for the week, which is a absolute welcoming bless to all. Yay. My school just had Teachers' Day today, which is tragically sad, because the actual date was about a month ago or so. Nevertheless, it was however, quite an enjoyable day. Oh god, i can't believe i'm saying this. but I felt guilty and very bad because i never did manage to get any of my teachers a gift or even a card. :( I very much wanted to do so but i was hesitant and unsure. I ran out of time before i knew it. Seeing my friends enthusiastically going about with their gifts/cards and the fact that this is my last year to do so made things worse. So, i am now (NOTE: NOW.) determined to repay all my teachers by working harder and to get the best grades in my SPM examination i can.(yeah right.) Sigh. Definitely easier said than done.

I took a lot of pictures for the first time, for memory's sake.
buddies
Me and my good friends.

class
Me with a bunch of me classmateys. What a bunch of multi-racial poeple we are. :D

Also, i managed to finish watching AIR the anime. I believe this is one of my first shoujo anime in a long longggg time. AIR is a very pretty anime but the storyline is undeniably horrible. The events don't link at all in general. It's practically plotless and it confused me to no end. I'll praise the animation, because the characters and backgrounds are beautiful. But most of the characters were annoying. The ending sucked. However it has very nice and pleasant OST, mostly because it's meant to be a somewhat dreamy anime and I love the opening OST. I guess i'll still only rate this anime 3 out of 10.

Kanna

Tohno

Yukito
Mmm..Yukito. One of the few things worth watching in the anime. But only ONE bishie in the whole anime, it's undoubtedly sad.

My conclusion: anime with more bishies are still the best. Hehe.

Gravitation

I can't believe it. It's 5 more days till school starts.

.............
...................

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO MY HOLIDAYS?!? WHERE DID IT GO?!?

*regains composure*

Ohkay. So maybe i did slept my holidays away and wasted most of it by reading Star Wars fanfics on the comp for hours(WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?)...but really, why is it that holidays past so fast? Just a blink of an eye and before i know it, school is almost starting and i still haven't touched a single shit of my damned homework. oh the pain of it...

And i can't believe that i have only watched ONE anime during my supposely 2 weeks hols. I only watched Gravitation, and i must say, i was deeply dissapointed in it. I have heard of Gravitation being a famous yaoi anime 3 years back, and now that i've watched it, i didn't think it was that great after all. For one thing, Shuichi is one of the MOST annoying characters i've ever seen since in all my anime-watching life. I hate the way he keeps clinging on to Yuki and how pushy he can be. Yuki has killer looks, but i don't like how his has his mood swings...from cold, to horny, to loving, to insecure and to suddenly piercing cold again. :S My fav characters would definitely be Hiro and Ryuichi, and the ironic thing is that, i actually liked the straight characters in a yaoi anime. :-/

The storyline wasn't very good at all, maybe because they tried to stuff 12 volumes of manga(i think) into 13 episodes. The manga should be better, i suppose. I watched the OVAs too, but not impressive as well. But the good thing is, they have some pretty good OST in the series. I love the song Glaring Dream.I guess i'll only rate this anime 5 out of 10.

Yuki
Sigh. Undeniable, Yuki ishot.

After 1 and the half weeks of holidays, today was my first ever to actually hang out with my friends. We went to Times Square to check out Borders, the currently biggest bookstore in Malaysia. The collection of books there were impressive, i must say. I didn't buy anything there, but i did manage to finsh reading the whole set of X/1996 manga though. :D YES! i managed to save my money from buying it. Wahahaha.. i would've enjoyed it better if it wasn't for me puking out my lunch...i guess i was just too full(we had Kenny Rogers).

Then we walked down to Sg. Wang plaza mall and walked inside for a long, long, longggg time, in search for the Coldplay cd Liz wanted. But after 'exploring' almost the whole of Sg. Wang building and surviving through the sea of poeple in Sg. Wang, she finally found the cd she wanted...only it was found back in Times Square, square one. Sigh, i guess all that walking was the definite well-deserved exercise for myself, since all i've been doing during the holidays were just eating, sleeping, onlining, and more sleeping. My legs are now officially sore. At the end of the day, i didn't spend a single cent on anything and i incredibly restrained myself from buying any anime merchandise at all. However i spent about 30 bucks plus on food(But well worth it! Except the puking part, yeah.). There goes my 'exercise'.

The monorail ride on the way back was a nightmare. I had no idea the crowd was so so huge and violent. We got separated with Jess and VL, but we survived nonetheless. But the most enjoyable part of today's 'little outing' was probably on the train, on our way back. Though tired to the core, me, Liz and Liy were goofing away in the train, joking, laughing our asses off, and yes, also practising our 'force powers' with the train's sliding door. i swear i saw the lady sitting in front of Liy smirking at us. She got up before the train reached the destined station and stood near the door, proabably to hid her snigger or something. Well, we're silly, but we're enjoy it and we're sillily proud of it. So sue us.

Today was fun. I needed it badly.

D.N. Angel

I was supposed to write my comment on D.N Angel a week ago, after i finished watching it. But as usual, my lazy genes kicked in and i didn't feel like updating at all. So, since now i'm feeling quite alive, might as well do it. :D

So....D.N. Angel. The anime that i had once been dying to watch. But when i did, i found out that it wasn't exactly how i expected it to be. D.N. Angel is a rather plotless anime but fun to watch, to relax. It's also more of a sappy and silly teen romance story, especially between Niwa and the Harada twins. In the anime, i'll definitely prefer all the kaitou action to the silly romance. I was quite impressed by the animation, and i thought it was pretty good because at times, the graphic seems 3d and realistic enough.

Most of the time, the story is actually short and goes episode per episode, except for the few last ones. There's obviously some sweet moments in the anime that made me go 'Awwwww....', but most of the time i get annoyed because i don't fancy the love square between Niwa, Dark and the Harada twins. I prefer scenes on Daisuke and Satoshi. *grins* Fangirly mood alert!

Characters:

Dai-chan
Who wouldn't love Dai-chan? He's so adorable, but he gets annoying at times, especially around the Harada twins.

Satoshi
One of the main reasons i watched D.N Angel in the first place. *drools*. Nuff said.

Dark
Mmmm. As much as i like Dark, he's a damn womaniser to me.

Krad
Krad is hot. But he is a serious fashion criminal. I mean, white coat with PINK and frills?!? They could've gave him a better colour.

Harada twins
The Harada Twins. Frankly, i like Riku more than Risa. Because Risa is a vain self-centered and silly girl who thinks about nothing but herself. It wasn't until towards the end that she became bearable to me. Riku is more casual, but both are equally annoying. Risa and her darned "Dark-sann...Dark-sannn!" with Riku and her 'Niwa-kun...Niwa-kunn!!" killed me with annoyance. Yes, i'm anti-anime-in-love-girls. So sue me.

DaiRiku
I actually think that Riku and Daisuke make a pretty kawaii couple. I went 'awww..' for them for a while.

SatoDai
However, i don't and cannot deny the existance of the cute SatoDai hints. They're practically all over the anime! *secretly waves SatoDai flag.*

But the cutest character far has got to be:

With
With! Oh i so wanna hump cuddle it! I wish i had a pet like that. But if i did, it'll probably die within days anyway.

Pissed, i was, when they didn't show the stage play Daisuke's class were supposed to do in the manga. >=( My verdict, i'd say D.N Angel is a little action and sappy romance with a touch of shounnen-ai hints and it's worth watching for a little fun and relaxing time without much attention/thinking needed. i'd give it a 5 out of 10, considering i didn't like the plot very much. Kudos to the graphic though. I prefer the manga to the anime, anytime.

Sigh. It's almost the end of the first week of my holidays. and i haven't even got 50% percent of my to-do list done. 24 hours a day is damn insufficient. I have so much more anime to watch. Times like these, i'll go on wishing i have Doraemon with me.

Saturday, May 28, 2005

FREEEEDOM!!!...Temporarily, that is.

YESSSS.....

The torture is over. The sufferings are has come to an temporary end. NOTE: only momentarily. After almost 3 weeks of 'hard work', i can finally relax just a bit. I've been looking forward to the day i can go online again without restraining myself and forcing myself to study. I must say though, i don't think my efforts are quite enough, but i had a hell of a time answering the exam questions, especially chemistry. As much as i like FullMetal Alchemist, i don't really dig chemistry, and no doubt it's the hardest of all 3 science subjects beating biolody and physics bwecause chemistry needs not only understanding, but also calculations and memorizing skills. Which sucks because i have neither of the 3. Infact, i never thought this might occur, but chemistry was actually even harder than add math. Now i'm just praying that i might scrape through with some of my one-shot answers. If there's one thing i've learnt, it's never to study at the last minute again. I should've learnt this years ago, but yes, old habits die hard and i'm just plain stubborn and asking for it.

My face now has become a zit pit, and i look like a distant cousin of pandas because of the dark eye bags under my eyes and i must've at least gained 5 kg during the whole exam weeks. If there was one thing that kept me going through the darkest hours of studying, it would no doubt be FOOD. Somehow, i just cannot study without eating something. and it was snacks and junk that kept my butt still on the chair of my studying table.

My fridge

and my larder during the exam weeks.

I never realized it was that bad...

Holidays are great. And i have so many things to do. I have to resume watching my animes, and sadly and most unfortunately, i still have some homework and a project to finish. I have so muich to do that 24 hours for a day is definitely not enough. Sigh. I'll worry about my results after the holidays.

Stay in KL for a night. Got myself a new digi cam thanks to my father, a nice t-shirt and the 8th box of Prince of Tennis. I suddenly feel so damn guilty..but ah, what the heck. I'll just..indulge for a bit. :) I watched Madagascar too. It was a plain pointless animation movie, but definitely worth watching for a good laugh. I love Melman and Gloria. Penguins rock. :D

Star Wars III : Revenge of the Sith

Praise the lord. One hellish week passed. And one bloody week more to go. This whole week was nothing but pain. I stayed up almost every night, burning the midnight oil to cram everything in my tiny brain. I'm not exactly sure if my last minute efforts paid off, but at least i could answer a bit of the questions. But History paper was a total disaster. I couldn't remember the facts at all and i just crapped some answers out. All i'm hoping now is that, i can get enough marks to scrape through. I'll be eternally greatful if i don't fail any one of the subjects. Perhaps....this might serve me a lesson as to never study during the last minute. But..i'm not one who learns easily anyway. ._.

I did not sleep the whole damn night before the History exam, which was on friday...after the whole paper, i slept for 16 hours straight. i think i broke my old record, 14 hours. ^__^ I still have exams to sit the following week but i'm already acting as though i finished everything.

Now, as a reward for myself for suffering the whole week even though it's my own fucking fault for not studying seriously, i watched Star Wars III: Revenge of The Sith with my brother. I must say, it was one heck of the good movie, even though it wasn't exactly as brilliant as i expected it to be. The only precise word to describe the movie is :tragic. but i suppose it was meant to be that way anyway. I'm really impressed with how George Lucas and his crew made all the space and galatic action, with all the laser and jet-fighters. That was really cool and incredible. Very realistic. And the graphic works are definitely wonderful.

On the actors, i don't think Hayden Christensen did a very good job playing Anakin. He's a bit stiff, if i may say. Ewan McGregor(Obi-wan) did a much better job, and he saved the movie. Ian McDiarmid(Palpatine) also did worthy actings , but he was kinda scary. Really. Romance scenes between Padme and Anakin..were a bit unnatural. Somehow, for me, it didn't go smooth enough. Also, Padme's reactions when told Anakin has joined the Dark Side was a bit stiff and fake as well. But generally, it was alright. The storyline was a bit too hasty(on how everything happened), but other than that, it was fine.

My fav characters would be Yoda, followed closely by Obi-wan, then R2D2. :D I loved the action scenes, but personally, i think the fight between Yoda and Darth Sidious was better and more exciting than the battle between Obi-wan and Anakin. The way Anakin became D.Vader was tragic. How things turned out between Obi-wan and Anakin, who were once master and apprentice, once good friends...it was heartbreaking indeed. I can feel the hatred of Anakin towrds Obi-wan and Obi-wan's disappointment in himself and Anakin as well. Why George Lucas said this was the darkest episode among the trilogy made perfect sense now. And i can't help pitying Anakin, even though i don't really like him. It's ironic how he became Darth Vader in order to save his loved one, and yet she died because he went to the dark side. If only the Jedi Council gave him a wee bit more of trust, then perhaps, he would not have joined the Sith.

Verdict: I'd give it an A-. My sentiment, Lord of the Rings was better. For me, this third installment was very good, but i'm a tiny bit disappointed about the final battle. And the acting could've been better. Or maybe i was just pissed when i was watching it, because of the stupid kids running around and the bloody noises those uncivilized people made in the damn cinema(for the love of god, if you wanna watch a movie in a cinema then turn off your damn handphones and shut up!!!). >:( In my opinion, Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace is still the best among all the other Star Wars films. Still, definitely hats off to George Lucas and his wonderful cast and crew for making this incredible movie possible.

Hell Breaks Loose...

Alright. 2 papers down. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't good either. I can tell. I wasn't prepared and i didn't answer well. But the nightmare has merely begun. The next two week will be the real thing. I am suppose to study but i seriously don't have the mood for it. Somehow i'm taking this a bit too lightly...and i've got a really heavy hunch that i'll be sorry for this. :(

In the mean time...Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of The Sith will be coming out soon! :D I can't wait to watch it, but i won't be able to until my exams end. DAMNIT. I really don't like Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. But i can't wait to see Master Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi in action! :D

Yoda
Yoda has become my favourite character in Star Wars. I have no idea why. :D

Bad Luck

Last week i said that i had bad luck. Well, it seems that my bad luck is not about to lift from me. More unfortunate events befell me. Like today, my handphone got confiscated when there was a fucking spot check during assembly. There wasn't such spot checks conducted through out the whole year and suddenly...BAM! On the day i thought that nothing would happen, it happened. And i got 2 points for bringing a cellphone. I have practically been a rebel in school for 4 damn years in my high school life, and my record was perfectly clean even though i broke hundreds of rules. But now, in my senior year, i'm in my best ever behaviour because it's my last year and i want a good record before i get the shit outta school..BAM!! the first 2 fucking points i'd ever get for something i didn't mean to do. I brought my cell because i had tuition, and needed it because sometimes my sister would contact me, as she was my means of transportation. I also needed it to contact my friends, as they were scattered all around town and we had to go to tuition together via taxi. I didn't bring it simply because i wanted to. :(

I guess i'm one of the best examples for Murphy's Law.

  • Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
  • If anything can go wrong, it will.
  • If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway.
  • Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.

And the ironic thing is that, the one who took my handphone away was the classmate who got back my stolen money from me. The assistant Head Girl. I cannot exactly blame her for what she did, because it is her job as a prefect and it was in the public anyway. I'm not entirely mad at her for some unknown reasons, however, to say that i don't feel angry at her at all and don't feel at least a little bit disappointed in her..is a total lie. I sort of hoped she as a friend would've silently returned my handphone to me instead of giving it to the bloody discipline teacher. But she chose responsibility over friendship. I guess things never really turn out the way you hope they would. It's illogical, but it's funny how sometimes, the people that you like and trust can at the same time become the people you dislike and distrust. It doesn't make sense, but i didn't plan to make any anyway. I have so much hate in me today.

Also, the stupid school decided to bring forward the date of my mid-year examinations. Which is utterly ridiculous and means that my exam starts next fucking week!! And yes, i haven't started anything at all. It's so unfair for the school to bring forward the date at such a sudden last minute. And knowing the fact that i won't be able to cram a year and a half's worth of topics and studies into my already malfunctioning and almost-dead brain in such a short period of time totally kills off my mood to study.

I'm not an avid believer in things like feng shui, horoscope and superstitions, but if there is any ritual or traditions that might ward off my bad luck, i'd be happy to oblige.

Better Luck Next Time

I've had a seriously rough week. Seems like Lady Luck wasn't with me the whole week. Everything i did turned out wrong or the opposite of what i'd expect. Sigh. my biology project was a total disaster, in which i had to spend so much time fixing it, that with a series of unfortunate events along the way.Oh well, better luck next time. (i'm obssessed with Lifehouse's song "Better Luck Next Time. ;) )
My projects are not done yet, so is my homework(it is never going to end) and my mid-year exams are just 17 days away. And yes, i have touched a single book yet and i'm not planning to till the very last minute.

How typical of me.

But on the other hand, i finally managed to finish watching FullMetal Alchemist. FINALLY. :D After a month or so borrowing it from my friend...i finally returned it to her. Can't help feeling guilty for borrowing her cds for such a long time. : [BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD!!]

FMA was a really good anime, though not always pleasant to watch. However, i don't think i liked the ending. In my opinion, Edward and Alphonse should've been together, after all they had gone through so much together. And yet they were seperated. Guess that reflects on reality, where not everything always happens the way you want it and ends happily. The ending wasn't as bad as i expected it to be, but still, i'm not a fan of unhappy endings. Even so, the ending was much better than the ending of Chrno Crusade. Thank God.

I didn't understand most of the ending, mainly because the translations were so SO bad and broken that i had to figure out 60% of what's actually going on myself with the help of the broken translations. The other 40%, i couldn't comprehend because i suck at japanese. T.T The translators ought to be shot in their heads. If you can't translate properly, then don't! >:(

I like the ironic storyline of FMA though it obviously shows that Arakawa Hiromu-sensei is a rather sadistic person, because of all the tragic events that has happened to all the charcters. I also like how the plots goes around and how the characters grow and relate back to each other in the anime. Interesting. The anime was somewhat gory and disturbing at moments, but that didn't matter. What i don't like is that it often left me in a depressing state after watching it. The humour in the anime made up for that though. Also, I heard that the manga's story is wayyyy different from the anime. :S i have yet to complete reading the manga, so i dunno...

And now...the characters!

I'm not very fond of the Elric kyodai, but you gotta ♥ 'em when they're like this:

Elricbros

My favourite male character:
Maes
Maes Hughes. A bloody crazy but devoted family man. It's a pity he had to die (WHY?!?!).

Fav female:
Izumi
Izumi. She's cranky and she rocks, she kicks asses and she has dreadlocks for her hair. What's there not to love about her?

Fav Homunculus:

Greed
Greed. I like him, the best of the Seven Sins compared to others, even though he plays a really minor role. He's cool. :)

Even though he's not my fav character:
Roy
Nobody can deny the hotness of Roy Mustang(though in certain pictures only, like this. ♥♥)

It's amazing how FMA can crack you up at any random moment, even during grim moments.

fma
I wasn't kidding when i said it can seriously crack you up.
fma2

Mjr Amstrong
And this TOTALLY KILLED me.

Conclusion: FMA is a brilliant mixture of humour and angst. It shows a lot of cruelity and hardships in life. Out of the scale of 10, i'd give it a 8 and a 1/2. I somewhat believe in the Principle of Equivalent Trade: 'Everything comes with a price'. To me, that is true and the reality, though sometimes you can't exactly get what you want even if you poured in a lot of effort to get it.

Now that's done, my next mission would be to finish off DNAngel. A lot more waiting for me to watch. Sigh. i don't see how i can score for my exams.

New Header

Made a new title header for this blog~~ Am quite happy with the results though it took me about 2-3 hours to do it. :D Makes it look at least a wee bit prettier.
I was supposed to finish of FMA
today, but as usual i fell asleep form 9 all the fucking way till 1 something in the morn. *muttersdamntimemanagementmutters*

Got my stolen money back, thanks to a kind classmate of mine, who happens to be the asistant Head Girl. :) Even though my hatred for the thief has cool downed a bit, i still hope that damn thief would be AT LEAST expelled from school. What's the use of keeping a thief in school? My case DEFINITELY wasn't her first time despite what she said. Bloody liar.

I hafta do my bio project, but i'm not in a mood right now. It's amazing to see how many things that needs to be done here. I still wanna make more graphic wallpapers and signatures, have to complete all my homework and project, and watch all my stacking anime at the same time and read more manga/doujinshi/book. I haven't touched a single book in a long longggg time and my english is deteriorating badly. I haven't even read The Da Vinci Code yet. Yes, i'm sad. Right now, if there was a chance for me to wish for something, i'll definitely wish for more time. Not money(somebody, yell at me "Are you fucking nuts?!), but time.
But...it's partially my fault for wasting time anyway. Damn the irony. -__-

Love Mode

It hasn't been a very good day for me. I lost my money, AGAIN. I'll bet my head that its the same damn thief who stole it from my wallet while i was in the lap for my Physics lessons.
I don't get it. I seriously don't. Why do people steal? Is this what you call 'desperate times call for desperate measures'? Still, even if you have problems, it doesn't give you the right to steal from people and let other people suffer as well. For me, because i have been a victim of theft for a few times, i don't care anymore. I don't give a damn what reasons this/these damn thief or theives have, but they all deserve to die. I feel no pity for them nor do i sympathise them anymore. Die you fucking thieves! DIE!

Sigh. Holiday tomorrow, so i can relax a bit. Still, i was supposed to finish of my homework and start on my bio project immediately. And yet, i spent 5 hours glued to my computer reading downloaded manga. I'm a total failure by design. :(

Speaking of manga, i've finally finished reading Love Mode
, after some kind people gave me the link to download the rest of the manga (i was seriously obbsessed with it and couldn't wait for Sakura-Crisis's release.). Read all 11 volumes. The ending was so so soo beautiful that i almost cried. Well, literally. I wish it wouldn't end. It's one of the 1st yaoi manga i've ever read, since i usually read doujinshies more. But Love Mode is hontouni subarashi soshite sugoi na. Much love to Yuki Shimizu-sensei for creating such a lovely manga. And oh, i'm officially a whore for the ReijixNaoya pairing in the book. They're the best pairing in the manga by far, just so sweet and right together. :)

Maoya
Oh my pretty pretty Naoya-kun~! *skips happily*
I shall venture on Loveless
next. ^___^ But sleep is calling me now.

The Long Awaited Night...or not.

Yesterday night was supposed to be a night of fun i've been anticipating for weeks. However, it didn't turn out to be quite as fun as expected. Why? Here's why:

1) There were ppl all dressed up as if they were going to some kinda prom. LOST, those poor souls.
2) Too much drinking spoils everything.
3) Started and ended wayyyy too early.
4) It's not just 'us' anymore.
5) No chance to take group pictures.

Seriously, it was just a casual house party, and people actually turned up expecting a grand ballroom?? We all had wine. But some took it with bottoms-up, forcing other people to drink as well. At the end, all ended up drunk. Drank at 8, danced at 9, by 10 something, everyone's pooped. Tsk tsk.

Now, it's not that i'm being a bitch (okay, maybe a lil) and critical now, i'm truely greatful that Jess and Cam actually organized this party. Thank you to the both of them and great job hosting, seriously. Just that, it could've been a bit better. Don't mistake me, i had fun socializing with everybody, meeting up with YS again, eating the food/cake and drinking the beverages. But i guess it just ended a bit too early and i had no chance of taking any pictures with any of the gang though it's our last year. :(

I stayed over in Jess's home with a few others and we ended up watching:
Exorcist

Well, it was our main intention to watch a horror flick anyway, and i have no idea how on earth i agreed to that. The Exorcist: The Beginning wasn't exactly scary, but more like a gruesome and gory mess. Still, i jumped and hid my face with the cushion everytime something happens, though i knew something was about to happen. I am just naturally hopeless with horror movies.

But the movie wasn't that scary mostly because every scene i saw i kept thinking back about the spoof Exorcist scene in Scary Movie 2
. Couldn't help but to laugh a lil. And there was this scene where the devil-possessed girl(Sarah) said to the priest: "What's the matter? Don't you wanna fuck me anymore?"

That totally killed the scary atmosphere.

But here weren't any lasting effects on me, surprisingly. Sure, it was creepy when a coward like me watched it during the movie, but after that....i wasn't really afraid of it anymore. Perhaps it's because it's a bit unrealistic and it was NOTHING compared to some Korean and Japanese horror flicks around. The Tale of Two Sisters
kept me from sleeping for about 2 weeks, while The Exorcist: The Beginning, probably just bout half an hour. i would rate it a D.

Then my friends decided to watch a comedy movie. I felt too tired to watch it , so i tried to sleep. But i couldn't get the right position to sleep in and was still awake all the way until after the movie, up till 5am. Only did i got tired enough to sleep. Though i can practically fall alseep anywhere and anytime, i guess for a long good night's sleep...only my bed at home can allow me that kinda sleep. It was friggin cold as well. And oh, according to Cam, i snored. Pretty badly that is.

Opps. -___- The poor other people.

I guess it's because i was fucking tired that time and becauseisnorealmosteverynightanyway. Managed to wake up at 8 and attend my tuition class at 9. Physics and Chemistry, all the way till 12 noon. Its a MIRACLE i survived it. But 3/4 of the time during tuition, i wasn't listening or paying attention anyway. So it was pretty pointless.

Then got back, bathed, and here i am typing this shizzit(learned this from the comedy movie we were watching.) out. :D Well, i guess that's that and now i'm off to read my much missed Love Mode
manga. It such a cute manga. XD

:D~~~

There's no denying it anymore. Nagase is HOT.

nagase
:D~~~ ♥ ♥ Somehow the Sukisyo game pictures are a lot prettier than the anime. But i like'em both. XD

I have a lot of homework. Suddenly it's all just piling up on me. :/ i woke up late today, and forgot both my add math work and physic report. Thank god my physics teacher forgot about it. Sigh. Homework depresses me so much.

DANG

DANG!!! i've actually typed a very long post but i accidentally deleted it! SHIT! There goes my all my typing. :(
Sigh. Shan't type it all over again. The internet conenction is back, by the way. Praise the lord and the people who finally fixed it.
On sat i went to KLCC to shop for Cam's bday present. I visited Tower Records for a moment and had to seriously restrain myself from buying anything because i am practically broke. If it wasn't for the 50 bucks i've lost the other day, i would've easily bought the new releases of Tactics. *sobs* So i ended up walking out of the shop empty handed and feeling miserable. But on the bright side, my bro finally bought the 1st box of Inuyasha though it was my mom who paid for it. That means i get to watch a new anime! Yay! Or should i cry, because it means another thing to add into my never-ending-to-do list? T__T
Then i walked about in the mall with my sis, searching for a farewell present for our dear nephew who's leaving for Aussie soon. Got him something and bought myself a nice lil t-shirt. I couldn't resist though am broke. There goes my 'Save as much money as possible and buy ONLY when necessary' policy. double *sobs*.

And i've finally finished watching Sukisyo. It was a pretty good anime, especially for yaoi fans like me. However, i can't say that i'm entirely happy with the ending, because:
1) They didn't show anymore Yoru and Ran. >:(
2) Too little Shinichirou and Nanami bits as well.
3) the climax...wasn't really as exciting as i had expected it to be.
4) It's all a bit too rushed. (but i guess that couldn't be helped as it has only 12 episodes.)
5) It ended, JUST LIKE THAT. :| I wanted more 'action' dammit!

But well, out of 10, i'd give it a 7; 3 for the storyline and 4 for the kawaii-ness. :)

Chibi Sora x Nao

SoraxNao
Sora x Nao. I can't help but to go 'Awwww...' when i see them, though i prefer Yoru x Ran.

Nagase
and i've always thought that Nagase was a wee bit creppy, but i have concluded that he is indeed SMEXY. XD~~~ ♥ ♥

I'm almost done with Fullmetal Alchemist too. Oh my poor poor neglected homework and studies. :

Bloody Internet Connection!

Call me a whiner, call me impatient, call me a spoilt brat. I know i should be thankful for what i have, but the superslow speed of my internet connection is practically killing me. Perhaps it because i'm using broadband, so i'm used to the normal speed of the connection. Recently the broadband company had some power outage or so.What pisses me of the most is that i can't download my animes via bittornado because of the stupid connection. I'm dying to see Sukisyo epi 12!!! I''ve waited patiently for it to be released and now....i can't download it. BAH.
I'm lacking sleep nowadays. Maybe because i'm always on the computer messing around with photopshop. But i'm sort of involved with the school debate team as well, causing my brain to malfunction me to miss a whole lot of classes and as a result.....my mountain load of homework which i have scarcely touch at all since Thursday. Plus all my tuition homework....*Sigh.* I probably shouldn't complain anymore and start doing my homework. Yes. That's what i shall do since the comp is half useless because of the slow speed.

............Before i do my homework, i think i shall go watch Full Metal Alchemist first. ^___^ As they say, old habbits die hard.

The Beginning.

Alright. So this is the my 1st ever post for a blog. I have been comtemplating whether to start a blog or not for a long time now, and wanted to start one since a year ago. Finally decided 'ah what the heck!' and started one damn blog. Named it Chaos Zone(sounds lame, i know) because i know this blog will eventually turn out to be a bloody big mess and my life is pretty much chaotic everyday anyway. I don't even know if this blog can last...i have started a livejournal account before. However, just after a few posts and now i've already abandoned it, except for my anime stuff there. :/ I've seen many pretty blogs before, with very nice customed layouts and i was inspired everytime for a spurring split second to start a blog with my own layout design. But unfortunately, that won't be happening any moment soon, because i'm practically HTML codes blind. I tried learning it, but it was confusing and i gave up halfway at first.I'm gonna have a go at it again soon, but currently i'm hooked on to Photoshop. So...guess no layouts for me at the moment. :(
Why do i get the unpleasant feeling that this blog will somehow end up like my tragic livejournal?
