But anyway! 5th of November = Guy Fawkwes Night = Bonfire = ♥
Didn't have the same international company that I had last year, which was a shame because it was mighty fun. Had national company instead this year, and it wasn't any less fun either so I am not complaining . =]
The only 'dampening' part of the whole event was the typical shitty English weather (pardon the pun). The sky was giving off rat's piss and it was annoying as hell because it's not only cold, but it had to be wet and muddy as well. There goes my Adidas.
We made our way to the grounds of Vale Village amidst a crowd of approximately 5000 people (according to facebook):
Finally found a good spot to mess around and had our asses frozen stiff while waiting for the fireworks display to start:
But when it started, it felt like the frozen misery was all worth it.
Pretty good pics for a lousy Sony Cybershot T700! (Because I finally got the bloody settings right..)
And then and then and thennnnnnnnn....there's the carnival!
Remember this? :
It's back!
Went up on it with HG, Gun, Zen and Raymond. Oh-so-awe-some! If it was for a fucking £2 per ride, I swear I'd go on it a few more times.
No toffee apples for me this year though. :(
But, made it up by having supper in Rooster House. What better way to end a fantastic cold night with hot and oily fast food? ♥♥♥
And I now officially need to go on diet. FML.
And oh, 4 more days to Coniston. Daym.

Not a fan of the series, but it does contain a lot of eye candy!
